The hotel offered spacious rooms that provided plenty of breakout space, and the Scottish food served was divine. However, the cleanliness standards were lacking, with unclean facilities and visible marks on the walls that suggested a need for renovation. The overall experience prompted us to switch to alternative accommodation.

The hotel had clean rooms, but the bed wasn't very comfortable and had some issues. The room smelled like smoke and wasn't fully prepared upon our late arrival. Despite bringing up concerns to reception, we didn't receive proper assistance. The location was convenient, especially for accessing highways and city center, but other aspects of the stay weren't up to par.

The rooms were initially cold upon entry but were equipped with only one set of towels despite the booking for two people. The service was a mix of disappointment due to staff attire issues but was saved by the exceptionally friendly and informative staff. The location was practical, though a bit dicey in some areas. The dining experience, although delivered to the room as per request, had some quirks but offered a good variety. Overall, a decent choice with room for improvement.
